Wheat germ is part of a wheat kernel and is responsible for helping the plant reproduce and spawn new wheat. The oil of wheat germ comprises significant amounts of healthy fats, plant proteins and fibers, apart from being inherently rich in vitamins E, A, D, K and minerals like potassium, zinc and iron.
